Realme has already released the schedule for the Android 12 beta update. And as scheduled, Realme announced the Android 12 Open Beta for the Realme GT.

In early October, Realme released the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access based on Android 12 for the Realme GT. And now, almost two months after testing it in closed beta, the application for Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta is now available. Realme follows the update process, such as closed beta (early access), open beta, and then the final stable build. This means that stable Android for Realme GT is expected to be available on January 12.

Realme UI 3.0 is based on Android 12 and so it brings a lot of features that were introduced with Android 12. New features include new widgets, animations, new icons, fluid interface, Omoji for 3D avatars, smart themes, and many more. Unfortunately, the interface will not be the same as stock Android 12.

Common issues

a. After the upgrade, it may take a longer time to boot for the first time, especially if there are many third-party applications on your phone.

b. After the upgrade, in order to improve the system operation efficiency and eliminate potential safety risks, the system will perform a series of actions such as application adaptation, background optimization, and security scanning which may cause slight hanging and faster power consumption.
