Apple releases iOS 17.3 Beta 3 for Developers

At the start of the new year, Apple introduced iOS 17.3 Beta 2 along with numerous other updates. Unfortunately, a major issue occurred with the beta update that resulted in a bootloop for many iPhones. Apple admitted that the problem was widespread and rolled back the update shortly after it was released. Although many expected a re-release, this did not happen.Apple today released the third beta of iOS 17.3, ignoring the re-release of the second beta.

Apple is rolling out iOS 17.3 Beta 3 initially to developers, but will soon be available to public beta testers as well. The update is available with build number 21D5044a.The build number tells us that the release candidate and public release are almost ready. Yes, this could be the last incremental beta of iOS 17.3.

Along with the third beta of iOS 17.3, Apple is also launching iPadOS 17.3 Beta 3, watchOS 10.3 Beta 3, tvOS 17.3 Beta 3, macOS Sonoma 14.3 Beta 3, macOS Ventura 13.6.4 RC3 and macOS Monterey 12.7.3 RC3.

The third beta could be the final beta based on the build number information. Therefore, we don’t expect many changes in the third beta.However, there will still be some changes. Once I have them all together I will make the following list of changes.
As mentioned above, iOS 17.3 Beta 3 is currently available to developers but will soon be available to public beta testers as well. Since the latest Beta 2 update, we all know that you have to wait to install the update.
