Realme GT 2 is now the latest Realme phone to get Android 13 Open Beta. The device entered the Early Access program about a month ago. And after a month of closed beta testing, the company announced Android 13 open beta for Realme GT 2.

Realme officially announced the launch of the open beta on the community page. And with the launch of the Open Beta program, it’s clear that a stable update for the device is just a few weeks away. In fact, if there are no issues with that build, the same build will be released as a stable update to all users.

The latest open beta update is available with build number RMX3312_11_C.03 and is currently available in India.

Talking about the new features, the update brings the same features that Oppo and OnePlus are offering. It includes an anamorphic design, Quantum Animation Engine 4.0, larger folders on the home screen, security and privacy improvements, and more. You can check the changelog in the screenshots attached below.

If you are a Realme GT 2 5G user and want to test Android 13 before the stable release, you can easily opt for Open Beta. Make sure to update your phone to RMX3312_11.A.20 / RMX3312_11.A.21 before applying for the beta.

To apply for the beta, go to Settings > Software Update. Tap on the Settings icon in the upper right corner and then select a Trial version. Now select Open Beta and follow the on-screen instructions. After submitting the application, Realme will review it, and then you will receive an update when the application has passed the review.

Before updating your Realme GT 2 to Android 13 Open Beta make sure to back up your phone and charge it at least 50%.

If you don’t like the new update or have any issues with it and want to go back to Android 12, you can install the rollback package.

You need to install the update using the stock recovery. You will lose your data so take a backup.
