Just a few days ago, Oppo released the stable ColorOS 12 update for Reno 5 Pro and Reno 5 Pro 5G. Now the company has started rolling out the final versions of Reno 5, Reno 5 Marvel Edition, and Reno 6. The latest update is being developed with many new features, improvements, and refinements. Oppo has confirmed the rollout by sharing updates on its community forum. Currently, the update is limited to Indonesia, and will be available in other regions in the coming days. If you’re using a Reno 5 series phone, make sure your phone runs on version A.28 or A.29. For Reno 6, the software version requires the build of A.10 or A.11. Since this is an important update, the size of the update will be larger. So make sure you use a Wi-Fi connection to download the update.
Moving towards features and changes, then ColorOS 12 bag features like enhanced UI, 3D textured icons, widgets based on Android 12, new features for AOD, new privacy controls, and many more. You can also access Android 12 accessories.
Currently, the update is available for Reno 5 or Reno 6 users to choose from. If you’re using any of these phones, you can apply for the official version of ColorOS 12 to get OTA soon. It will take some time to become available to everyone. So, if you’re in a hurry, you can go to Settings> Software Update> ColorOS 12 trial version, then submit the application. Before applying the beta, make sure your phone is running and charged with the latest software version. At least 50%.
