Prerequisites

  • VMware 16

Procedure

  1. First off, you will need to download good virtual machine software. We recommend VMware 16 for this purpose.
  2. You can download it by heading here. The file should weigh around 600 MB.
  3. Once you have got the file downloaded, install it onto your Windows PC by following the on-screen instructions.
  4. Now, you will need to get the ChromeOS Flex.cva file.
  5. You can simply download it from this link. The file size will be around 2.4 GB.
  6. Once you have the VMware setup and the ChromeOS file downloaded, it’s time to set it up.

Setup

  1. First, connect your Windows PC to the internet either using an Ethernet connection or a Wireless network.
  2. Now, navigate over to the folder where you have downloaded the ChromeOS Flex file.
  3. All you need to do now is to double click on the .cva file.
