After the release of MIUI 13, the first batch of internal beta versions have been launched. The first batch of the public beta versions will be released in the middle of this month. As of now, there is no information on the time of release for the second batch. However, the announcement made at the release of this system was for the Chinese version. Now, Xiaomi has announced a global upgrade plan for MIUI 13. This first global MIUI 13 announcement includes 19 models and they will get the update this month. But unfortunately, our Redmi Note 8 didn’t get the official MIUI 13 update till now but don’t worry developers had made us an MIUI 13 ported Rom from our Redmi Note 8. How to install
- Download the ROM from the link above
- Reboot your device into the installed TWRP recovery (Note: Latest version of twrp recovery should be installed) (Downlaod from the link above)
- Wipe everything except the internal storage and sd card
- Go to install and install downloaded ROM
- After installing teh ROM, install Magisk Zip file (Note: installing Magisk is Mandatory otherwise Rom wil never boot up)
- Now install Disable DM-Verity zip file (Download from the link above)
- Reboot and enjoy.
