Asus unveiled its latest gaming phone, the ROG Phone 8, at CES 2024 last month. The lineup includes two phones: ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro. The vanilla models retain the eye-catching materials and RGB lighting, while the “Pro” model looks more like a regular phone thanks to its subtle gaming style and eye-catching looks. Asus has launched its new gaming phones globally, which are already available in the European market, India and Taiwan. They will be available in the US in the first quarter. The ROG Phone 8 Pro is available in 16GB and 24GB RAM versions; with 512GB and 1TB storage options. This year’s phone is also IP68 waterproof.
Camera-wise, this year’s phone will feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera with Super HyperSteady video mode, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 32MP telephoto lens. For selfies, the ROG Phone 8 Pro has a 32MP camera. The Asus features the latest gaming phone with a 5,000mAh battery and support for 66W fast charging. The Pro model in Europe starts at €1,199.
